Parker C Series Check Valves NZ | High-Pressure Valves
Parker C Series check valves provide unidirectional flow control for liquids and gases in industrial instrumentation and process systems. They are available with 316 stainless steel or brass bodies, multiple seat materials and a wide selection of threaded and compression connections.
Unlike hygienic clamp-style non-return valves, the C Series is designed primarily for high-pressure instrumentation duties in chemical processing, pharmaceutical production, oil and gas, pulp and paper, power and utility applications.
Spring-Loaded Poppet and Resilient Seat Design
The spring-loaded poppet closes automatically when forward pressure falls below the valve’s resealing pressure. A back-stopped poppet limits spring stress, while the custom-moulded, blow-out-resistant seat is designed to remain retained within the valve body.
- Factory tested for cracking and resealing performance
- Heat-code traceability
- Orifice sizes from 2.0 mm to 16.7 mm
- Maximum Cv values from 0.31 to 6.56, depending on valve series
Body, Seat and Connection Configurations
- 316 stainless steel or brass body construction
- Fluorocarbon rubber, nitrile, ethylene propylene, neoprene, PTFE and highly fluorinated fluorocarbon seat options
- Male and female NPT or BSP threaded connections
- CPI and A-LOK compression connections in imperial and metric sizes
- SAE, UltraSeal, VacuSeal, Seal-Lok and tube-adaptor configurations
- Port sizes from ⅛″ to 1″, with metric compression options from 3 mm to 25 mm
Pressure, Temperature and Valve Selection
316 stainless steel valves are rated up to 414 bar for sizes from ⅛″ to ¾″ and up to 345 bar for 1″ sizes. Brass valves are rated up to 207 bar, while configurations with PTFE seats are rated up to 276 bar. Final pressure and temperature limits depend on the valve size, connection and selected seat material.
