Solventum’s Liqui‑Cel™ membrane contactors—originally developed under 3M—are compact, high‑efficiency gas transfer devices used to precisely remove or add dissolved gases such as oxygen, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen in liquid streams. These membrane contactors are widely used in industries including power generation, pharmaceuticals, microelectronics, food and beverage, and high‑purity water treatment. Liqui‑Cel systems help reduce corrosion, improve process efficiency, enhance product quality, and achieve extremely low dissolved‑gas levels (e.g., <1 ppm CO₂ and <1 ppb O₂), outperforming conventional degassing towers due to their high surface‑area microporous membranes and modular design.
The modular design allows you to customize the membrane contactors to your process ensuring proper extraction of CO₂ and O₂.
