601 Filters - Insertion Aid Options -Specials

HD process supply 601 series right and filters with options to assist for re-insertion of the inserts into the housings. In some cases this can be difficult, as the bottom O-ring connection is quite a snug fit. Insertion aid options can become useful particularly when larger inserts are used (– e.g. 3.0 inch or bigger) or are being inserted horizontally or at some angle to the vertical.

As per the photographs here, options include

1. PTFE ring insertion aid – combines a split PTFE ring mounted in a channel constructed in the base of a special 601 insert. – Works with standard 601 housings to aid location.
2. Inserts adapted to have no O-ring. These have a slightly wider let without O-ring and are designed to work with standard 601 housings (particularly for use where customers may have had issues with breaks in their standard O-ring set up)
3. housings with a specially bevelled base , to channel standard inserts into the correct location. (These housings look quite similar from above but have a small chamber and accentuated channel to lift inserts from which are coming in from a horizontal position)
