GS range right angle filter range
HD Process supplies the GS range of right angle filters for process pipelines. The range includes GS-SA weld-end filters in 1–4 inch sizes, alongside larger GS60 and GS80 filters for made-to-order applications.
GS Filter Sizes and Configurations
- GS-SA: 1–4 inch right angle filters with weld ends, a choice of filter inserts and custom connections available.
- GS60: 6 inch right angle filters for larger, made-to-order applications.
- GS80: 8 inch right angle filters for larger, made-to-order applications.

Wedgewire Inserts and Flow Direction
Wedgewire inserts use wedge-shaped wires welded to support rods to form a cylindrical screen with uniform slots. The slots widen behind the filtering surface, helping particles that pass through the opening continue through the screen.
- Inside-to-outside flow retains solids inside the screen.
- Outside-to-inside flow retains solids on the outside of the screen.
- The wider face of the wedgewire faces the incoming flow; screen orientation must match the intended flow direction.
