HD Process Smart Batch Pump with integrated IFM Electronics
HD Process provide SMART BATCH pumps (pumps controlled by PLC and programmable displays) for easy operator use and greater flexibility in control.
The unit in this section is a flexible impeller pump controlled by an IFM CR1152 (7”) programmable display. All of our pump range can be set up with this interface (see list of pumps below).
Other elements delivered with this particular package include;
SEW Variable Speed Drive with communications bus
IFM gateway ( IO-Link Master DL EIP 4P)
Networked components in include IFMs indicator light (DV2130 LED-Lamp/IO-Link/Buzzer), product sensor (dry run protection etc), Magnetic flowmeter (though this product are using a non networked geared flowmeter with pulse interface( and IFM DP2302 Monitoring Display-Counter)) and snap shut electric valves (not shown here)
These products are designed to allow the operator to either deliver an accurate measure for a dose/ filling application (bottle/container/bag/tank) or to be able to walk away and allow a larger predefined batch volume to be delivered tank to tank.
Flowmeters that are used include magnetic flowmeters (for conductive/water-based products ) and specialist positive displacement flowmeters for oils like the unit in this URL.

Functionality includes;
Go Slow Speed (slow to predetermined value X litres before target to avoid running over target).
Jog function (stop in advance of setpoint and pulse slowly to target for ultra fine control)
Dry run sensor with programmable timer out
