Hygienic Y-Strainer or Angular Filters
HD Process supply hygienic Y-strainer (angular) filters in a range of sizes and perforated plate apertures to protect pumps, valves, flowmeters and downstream equipment from foreign matter. These stainless steel angular filters are ideal for dairy, beverage, wine, food and CIP duty, providing reliable particulate removal with easy access for cleaning.
Standard Y-strainer housings are available in 1.0", 1.5", 2.0", 2.5", 3.0" and 4.0" line sizes, with a choice of perforated plate, wedge wire or mesh inserts to suit your required retention. Units are typically manufactured in 304 or 316L stainless steel with sanitary connections to match existing process pipework.
In addition to our generic stocked range, HD Process also supply INOXPA angular filters (Y-strainers) and M&S Y-strainers, giving options from economical utility filters through to premium European hygienic designs.
