Tri-Clamp Fittings NZ | Ferrules, Clamps and Gaskets
HD Process supplies Tri-Clamp ferrules, clamps, gaskets and blank end caps for hygienic process connections. The range includes standard inch Tri-Clover and DIN clamp fittings, with components matched to the relevant tube dimensions and sealing profile.
Clamp unions join two ferrules with a gasket retained between their faces and an external clamp holding the assembly together. This removable connection allows access for cleaning, inspection and maintenance.
Standard Inch Tri-Clover and DIN Clamp Connections
- Standard inch Tri-Clover fittings suit inch-based hygienic tube systems commonly used in New Zealand and Australia.
- DIN clamp fittings cover connections identified by their DIN dimensional series and nominal size.
These connections use a similar clamping arrangement, but tube diameters, bores and gasket dimensions can differ. Matching clamp-face diameters alone does not establish that two components are interchangeable.
Weld Ferrules, Blank End Caps and Clamp Designs
The overall range includes AISI 316L stainless steel weld ferrules and solid blank end caps in nominal sizes from ½ inch to 12 inch. Ferrules are available with short, medium and long weld lengths. Available dimensions depend on the fitting standard.
Several clamp designs are offered, including bolted versions for higher-pressure duties. Certified components, laser markings and special polishing are available on request.
Gasket Materials and Sealing Profiles
Gasket options include EPDM, NBR, silicone, Viton and PTFE, together with PTFE envelope styles. The gasket profile must match the ferrule standard, while the material must be suitable for the product and cleaning conditions.
