The pneumatic piston drum pump is a lightweight, handheld pump that operates directly inside the open drum with the lid removed. Compressed air drives a reciprocating piston, providing strong, controllable discharge for fast transfer or decanting.

Because the pump sits inside the drum, product heel is reduced and change-over between drums is quick. Stainless steel construction and smooth surfaces make it suitable for food, beverage and chemical applications. The simple air drive means there is no electric motor at the drum, which can be useful in wet or hazardous areas.

This style of drum pump is ideal for medium to high-viscosity liquids such as syrups, flavour concentrates, additives and cleaning chemicals. It is often used for batch transfer from drums into mixing vessels, blending tanks or day tanks.
