Retractable Side-Entry Tank Agitators
HD Process supplies industrial mixing equipment for in-tank and in-line processing duties, including stainless steel tank agitators, static mixers, liquid-powder blenders, emulsifiers, shear pumps and colloid mills.
The range covers low-shear circulation and blending through to powder incorporation, dispersion, emulsification and high-shear milling. Equipment selection depends on the product properties, batch or continuous process, required mixing result and installation arrangement.
Tank Agitators for Batch Mixing and Circulation
Tank agitators are available in vertical, side-entry, clamp-mounted, mobile and retractable configurations. These options support mixing in tanks, kettles and IBCs across dairy, wine, beverage and other process applications.
- Vertical agitators for permanent top-entry installation
- Clamp-mounted agitators for smaller tanks and IBCs
- Side-entry agitators for circulation in larger vessels
- Retractable units for installation through a suitable tank valve
- Mobile arrangements that can be transferred between compatible tanks
- Air-driven agitators where pneumatic operation is preferred
In-Line Mixing and Powder Incorporation
In-line static mixers blend compatible process streams as liquid passes through fixed internal mixing elements. They have no rotating internal parts and are available with helical or folded mixing elements for suitable process duties.
Liquid-powder blenders are designed to introduce and disperse powders into a liquid stream. They may be considered where powders need to be incorporated more uniformly and efficiently than by adding them directly to a tank.
Emulsifying, Dispersing and High-Shear Processing
In-line and batch emulsifiers provide higher shear for forming or refining emulsions and dispersing ingredients into low- or medium-viscosity liquids. Available configurations include in-line shear pumps, vertical emulsifiers, tank-bottom emulsifiers and dispersers using high-speed sawtooth discs.
The appropriate system depends on the required particle or droplet reduction, product viscosity, batch size, recirculation arrangement and desired final consistency.
Colloid Mills for Medium- and High-Viscosity Products
Colloid mills use a rotor-stator working arrangement to disperse, emulsify and homogenise suitable semi-liquid products. They are available for in-line and batch processing duties involving medium- and high-viscosity products.
For equipment selection, provide the product, batch volume or flow rate, viscosity, operating temperature and required mixing result. Contact HD Process to discuss the most suitable agitator, mixer, emulsifier or mill configuration.
