Piggable Arc and Diverter Valves NZ | Product Recovery
HD Process supplies LIAG arc and diverter valves for hygienic product routing and pigging systems. Swept 120° flow paths allow a compatible flexible product recovery pig to pass through the valve.
The clear-passage design suits viscous, pasty and fast-hardening products, where product retention and access for cleaning are important considerations.
Clear Flow Paths for Product Recovery Pigs
The range includes two-way and three-way arc valves and diverter arrangements designed for use with the LIAG lip pusher. These components route product and the recovery pig through the intended pipeline path.
Within a complete recovery system, the pusher displaces product remaining in the line. Typical duties include yoghurt, dressings, soft cheese and chocolate, with HD Process also supplying pigging equipment for honey processing.
Hygienic Construction and CIP/SIP Cleaning
The valves have no dead pockets and an EHEDG-certified hygienic design supporting clean-in-place (CIP) and steam-in-place (SIP) operation. Product-contact stainless steel parts are AISI 316L, with a specified surface finish of Ra ≤ 0.8 µm.
- Welded, threaded and Tri-Clamp connection options
- Alternative shutter and seal materials for different duties
- Heated versions available
- Optional 3-A 51-01 and FDA-compliant configurations
Maintenance Access in Welded Pipework
The design uses a small number of components and wearing parts. Valves can be completely dismantled even when welded in place, allowing access for inspection and maintenance without cutting the valve body out of the pipeline.
