Nocado Pigging Systems NZ | Product Recovery

HD Process supplies Nocado pigging systems for recovering pumpable products from compatible process pipelines. These systems can also be used for product separation and gas-to-liquid media separation, helping move residual product through the line before the next process or cleaning stage.

The Nocado range includes pig stations, launching and receiving equipment, pig stoppers, piggable fittings, pipeline pigs and detection accessories. Systems can be assembled for manual, semi-automatic or automatic operation.

Product Recovery and Media Separation

A pipeline pig travels through the product line and pushes the remaining product towards its destination. This can recover usable product, separate consecutive products or provide a defined boundary between liquid and driving media.

Nocado uses a one-piece ball-and-lip pig with a closed hygienic surface. The pig incorporates a lip wiper for contact with straight pipe sections and a shaped body designed to travel through suitable bends. Magnetic or transponder identification options are listed for compatible systems.

Inline Pig Stations and Launching Equipment

Inline stations can act as both launching and receiving points while allowing the pig to remain within the system during production and cleaning. Nocado describes these stations as suitable for horizontal or vertical installation, with manual, pneumatic or electric actuation options.

Separate launching and receiving stations are available for manual or semi-automatic systems and for introducing or removing a pig from an automatic installation.

Pig Stoppers and Piggable Pipeline Components

Pig stoppers can halt the pig before machinery or another component that cannot be pigged. Associated fittings allow the stations, valves and pipeline sections to be combined into a continuous piggable route. Internal obstructions and incompatible valves or instruments must be addressed so the pig can travel freely.
